Q: Are the containers microwavable and compostable?

A: All of the containers are 100% compostable, but you cannot recycle them. They are not microwavable because it speeds up the composting process when heat is applied. Please reheat food in microwave-safe containers or on your stovetop/oven as listed on each container

Q: How does the process work?

A: I provide prepackaged whole food plant-based meals to help make eating well easier, affordable, and delicious! On Wednesday the menu for the next week is released on Instagram, Facebook, and the website. Orders can be placed at between Wednesday at 7 a.m. and Friday at 6 p.m. I cook all of the meals on Saturday. The meals are available for free pick up at 3601 North North St. between 1-3 on Sunday, or for $5 you can have them delivered to you from 3-5 on Sunday.

Q: Do you provide nutrition information?

A: There is no way for me to provide reliable nutrition information 100% accurately each week with the menu constantly changing, but I do include every single ingredient that I use. I do provide a close estimate of protein, fiber, sodium, and fat amounts. This is listed on the page with each item above the cart

Q: Where do you get your ingredients?

A: I buy most of my ingredients locally from the Peoria Riverfront Market and the Morton Farmer’s Market.  In the offseason, I order produce directly from local farms. Any ingredients that I cannot get from a local farmer’s market is purchased from Hy-Vee’s organic section.

Q: Where is your delivery area?

A: I will deliver anywhere within 45 minutes of Peoria, IL. If you are outside of that area, we can increase the delivery charge and work with you.

I deliver to Bloomington-Normal every Monday. There is a $10 delivery fee charge for orders in this region. Orders are delivered between 11 AM and 1 PM on Mondays with text updates. We do deliver to offices if preferred.

Q: Do you ship?

A: I am currently working on finding ways to ship the meals anywhere in the United States – stay tuned!

Q: Is every meal vegan?

A: Yes! Every meal is made from whole food and is plant-based. I change the menu every week to keep the meals unique, interesting, and approachable to people who may be new to this sort of diet.

Q: What about food allergens?

A: At this time our kitchen is dedicated vegan, gluten-free, and oil-free

I list every single ingredient that I use in each meal. If you ever see something that you are allergic to, you can email to see if a substitution is possible. Sometimes I can replace an ingredient for you at no extra charge, but sometimes it is too difficult to replace just one ingredient in something and I’d recommend instead ordering a different meal.

Though the food is prepared in an environment where there is no meat or dairy, there are other common (vegan) allergens that could potentially cross-contaminate the meals such as peanuts, cashews, walnuts, almonds, mushrooms, and more. If you are concerned about a food allergy please feel free to email me and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
